Generative AI can interpret laws, analyse court records and even draft rulings. Whilst law firms and legal departments are increasingly adopting this technology, the judiciary faces the challenge of upholding its constitutional role. The possibilities are impressive. Yet the more influence AI systems exert over content, the greater the risks become. The presentation demonstrates what generative AI is capable of, where the legal boundaries lie, and why the real challenge lies in preserving judicial independence and decision-making authority.
