What is real? Together, we explore how disinformation works – and how to identify and assess facts in the digital world.

Every day, we encounter content on social media that is manipulated, taken out of context or even entirely fabricated. In our interactive workshop “Fact or Fake?”, we explore how disinformation spreads online, how filter bubbles and algorithms influence our perception – and how we can spot fake news, deepfakes and AI-generated content.

The workshop is aimed at students from grade 7, parents, teachers, and anyone interested, and is hosted by the non-profit association Factary e.V. and its experienced media educators.

Recommended for: This workshop is open to anyone interested in digital literacy, critical media use and social responsibility in the age of AI – including educators, training providers, companies, and civil society actors. Especially relevant for businesses with apprenticeships or young talent programs, education professionals and anyone aged 14+.

Also suitable for:

Children Teenagers Students
