Sharing technical knowledge is a task that is often underestimated in many companies. A machine is delivered, instructions are included—and somewhere between production and use, some of that knowledge gets lost. Not because people don’t want to understand it, but because the information is sometimes presented in a way that’s hard to grasp.

That’s exactly where yntro comes in. We’re a Nuremberg-based company that develops interactive, multilingual video tutorials for companies in mechanical engineering, industry, and medical technology. For assembly, service, and maintenance. Tutorials that run in the browser—no app, no plugin—on any device.

What that means in practice: Users jump straight to the step they need right now. Safety instructions appear at the right moment and can only be dismissed once they’ve been read. Quizzes verify whether the content has truly been understood. If you need the same content in thirty languages, you produce one video—the text is added as a separate layer, no reshoots, no new budget. AI-powered voiceovers make this multilingual capability cost-effective.

A mechanical engineering company supplies actuators to over 30 target markets and no longer needs 30 separate video projects to do so. Another company offers visual guides that walk service technicians step-by-step through complex tasks—interactively and in multiple languages.

What these companies have in common is that they have recognized that well-communicated knowledge is not just a nice-to-have. It reduces support requests, lowers the costs of service calls, and protects against liability risks arising from incomplete safety instructions.

yntro was founded in 2017 by Florian Kadelbach in Nuremberg. Florian is an expert on ISO/IEC 26516, the international standard for the creation of instructional videos, a lecturer at the Technical Academy Esslingen, and a regular speaker at tekom. His conviction, which continues to shape yntro to this day, is that technical knowledge belongs with the people who need it—in their language, on their device, without barriers.

At the Digitalfestival Nuremberg, yntro will share its expertise on how knowledge is created through video and truly resonates with viewers. The focus is on clear concepts, understandable approaches, and directly applicable insights from real-world practice: for everyone who conveys content via video and wants to become more efficient and effective in doing so.

We look forward to sharing our expertise and connecting with people who want to convey technical knowledge in their companies in a way that is more understandable and future-proof.
