Multi-agent systems and generative AI could take over much of what social workers currently research and coordinate manually. But which of these possibilities are already a reality, and which are still a long way off? In the BMFTR-funded KIDaS project, we’re examining exactly that—which AI frameworks are truly ready for deployment, where they can be applied in the social sector, and what’s needed to make that happen.
