Artificial intelligence is increasingly shaping public discourse and is widely regarded as a central driver of digital transformation. Its impacts on working and living conditions are considered far-reaching — yet how are new AI tools actually integrated into everyday business practice?
This workshop combines scientific perspectives from the sociology of work and technology with interactive reflection on practical experience:
- What potential do AI tools offer for routine and standardized tasks?
- Can their targeted integration create new spaces for creative, strategic, and innovative work?
- How can AI implementation be carried out in a sustainable and employee-centered way?
- What unintended consequences need to be anticipated when introducing new technologies?
In addition to a concise overview of current developments and empirical research on AI use in organizations, the workshop centers on the participants’ own work realities. The goal is to develop concrete impulses for a confident, reflective, and quality-oriented approach to AI in the workplace.
