Digital sovereignty has become a key topic for public institutions, government agencies and private organizations alike. Dependencies on cloud platforms, the rapid rise of AI systems and new regulations such as the AI Act, Data Act and NIS2 create uncertainty about how sovereign organizations truly are.

In the Digital Sovereignty Lab, we make digital sovereignty tangible. Together with experts from IBM iX, you will explore the four dimensions of digital sovereignty – data, technology, operations and organization – and complete a compact live maturity assessment. You will identify where your organization is sovereign and where key risks remain. We then visualize the results and discuss patterns that emerge across the group.

After the joint introduction, you will choose between two parallel breakout sessions:

For participants with organizational insight (public sector or enterprise).

We guide you through the assessment, interpret the results together and derive immediate quick wins.

For participants without specific organizational context.

In just 50 minutes, you develop your own ambassador toolkit: learn to spot typical digital risks, communicate about them effectively and influence decision‑making – regardless of role or hierarchy.

We close by bringing all results together, sharing actionable insights, discussing best‑practice pathways and giving a practical outlook.
