Projects are rarely as clear and rational as methodologies suggest. In reality, project managers face conflicting goals, incomplete information, and constant decision pressure—especially in the context of digital technologies.
This event explores the “dark side” of project management and expands it with key aspects of digital ethics: How responsible are data-driven decisions? What happens when AI systems influence decisions that are no longer fully transparent? Where is the line between business success and ethical responsibility—particularly regarding data privacy, manipulative digital practices, or unrealistic project promises?
Topics include hidden agendas, power dynamics, decision-making under uncertainty, and the role of integrity and accountability in digital projects. The discussion will also address how project leaders handle conflicting objectives and when it becomes necessary to take a stand.
Expect thought-provoking insights, real-world examples, and an open discussion on responsibility in the digital project age—followed by networking in a relaxed summer atmosphere.

Whether it is digitalization, transformation, or sustainable development: the major challenges of our time are solved in projects. Anyone who wants to shape them successfully needs more than methods; it takes sound judgment, a sense of responsibility, and the courage to ask difficult questions.
Take time for project management too: on July 2, we will ask together what good project management really means in the digital age.
