3rd Nuremberg Mobility Night
No ready-made answers. But better questions.
An evening for people who no longer see mobility as just a transportation issue, but as a question of quality of life, urban experience, social inclusion, technology, and human connection.
The Nuremberg Mobility Night brings together people who shape mobility from business, government, academia, culture, start-ups, civil society, and urban development.
At the heart of the event is one simple question: How do we want to live in our cities in the future?
Using Nuremberg as a starting point, we will explore mobility, public space, technology, urban life, and quality of life. What has changed over the past decades? Where are we today? And where do we want to go next?
Following two successful editions, the Mobility Night is moving to the historic ballroom of the Künstlerhaus in Nuremberg’s KunstKulturQuartier.
What makes the evening special is the diversity of perspectives. People from urban planning, mobility, technology, business, politics, and society come together not to present finished solutions, but to exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and create new connections.

Moderated by Annette von Rolbeck
To conclude the evening, all participants come together again for an open fishbowl discussion.
Together we will explore the question:
What does a desirable future city look like and what role does mobility play in it?
Participants include:
- Stefan Carsten (Mobility Futurist)
- Alex Kahl (Civil Engineer, Transport Planner and Local Politician)
- Jürgen Hildebrandt (ADAC Northern Bavaria)
- Johannes Andree (Founder of the corporate mobility platform uRyde)
- Amelie Suttner (Velo Foundation)
- Georg Kern (PB Consult)
One seat will always remain open for the audience. Anyone can join the discussion and contribute their perspective.
What Else Is Happening?
The Mobility Night is about much more than what happens on stage.
Look forward to live graphic recording by Marie Gutmann, the legendary uRyde group bicycle outside the venue, an interactive commuter map by uRyde, insights into the Urban Transformation Playbook by Urban Lab, exhibition stands by PB Consult, Elmografico, ADAC Nordbayern and other partners, as well as countless spontaneous conversations and unexpected encounters.
Food, Drinks & Closing
Throughout the evening, the team from Regenzeit, one of Nuremberg’s most beloved Thai street food restaurants, will provide freshly prepared food and refreshments.
After the official program, the evening continues with music, conversations, new connections, fresh ideas, and potential future collaborations.
