The podcast “Ethik Digital” will be recorded live at the Nuremberg Digital Festival on July 7, 2025 at 3 pm. The event organized by the “Kirchlichen Dienst in der Arbeitswelt” (kda Bayern) will take place at eckstein and is dedicated to the topic of “Artificial intelligence in the focus of Christian ethics”.

Karl Teille, computer scientist and consultant for AI and ethics at the service agency of the Protestant Church of Hanover, will be talking to podcast presenter Rieke C. Harmsen. The topics of the conversation are the use of AI in the church, ethical questions about human-machine cooperation, the effects of AI on the labor market and reflections on deep fakes and “strong AI”.

After the discussion, there will be a Q&A session with the audience. Finally, kda director Peter Lysy will conclude the event with a short reflection and blessing.
