ChatGPT and DeepSeek are on everyone's lips and are used for many different purposes. However, the data is almost always processed by the providers. This is not always desirable and in some cases not always permitted for data protection reasons.

In this workshop, we will show you what alternatives there are and how you can run these (or slightly smaller models) on your own computer. If you want, you can bring a laptop and try it out for yourself. The platform doesn't matter, even if Macs work a little faster. Ideally, the computer should have 16 GB of RAM.
