More than just a "hygiene factor"
Did you know that the most successful teams are the ones that report the most mistakes?
This (very well) proven correlation is based on so-called psychological safety. The phenomenon in which team members speak openly and transparently, including about challenges, is not only the catalyst for effective teamwork, but also makes teams more innovative and more successful overall. It is therefore worth taking a closer look here.

So why doesn't everyone do this?
That would be great! However, it's not just the team members alone who decide how psychological safety is practiced or perceived in the company, but also the managers and their management style.

This is because a corporate culture with genuine psychological safety is opposed by destructive managers. They blame others for their own mistakes, don't take their employees' insecurities or concerns seriously or even make fun of them and embarrass team members in front of the group.

A step in the right direction
So how do we recognize destructive leadership behaviour and how can we avoid it? What can managers and organizations do specifically to promote a climate of psychological safety?

We will find answers to these questions together with you at our coworking event!
As part of the festival, we have put together a varied program that looks at the topic of psychological safety & destructive leadership from different angles. Highlights include our science-based keynote, a co-creative barcamp session and a hands-on workshop on dealing with destructive leadership.

You can't be there the whole day or are already scheduled for the start times? 
Come by at any time! You are also welcome to visit the box between the highlights. For the supporting program, our office will be transformed into a coworking space during the festival. In addition to the standards such as coffee, snacks and drinks, you can also drop by our coaching corner or listen to the latest episode of "New Work meets Science" exclusively on the coach in the podcast space. 
 
We will then end the day together on our roof terrace. With pizza, fire bowl & plenty of space for exchange and networking.
