However, digitalisation (especially during the initial transition) also costs time, money and nerves. Many non-profit organisations lack the necessary resources. This is precisely where digital volunteering comes in and brings these organisations together with volunteer professionals from the IT and digital sector. Digital volunteering thus creates digital solutions and products that can be used directly by non-profit organisations and their target groups.
