One, two, three - barrier-free?
Unfortunately, implementing accessibility on websites and shops is not quite that simple. However, the "Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz" (BFSG) now makes this mandatory in many cases - with a few exceptions for micro-enterprises and the B2B sector.

The deadline for implementing the relevant measures is 28 June 2025.
Although the penalties for non-compliance are not quite as draconian as in the case of data protection violations, there is still the threat of fines, warnings or, in the worst case, the prohibition of the (web) offer.

So reason to panic?

Not if you take action now. We would like to support you and explain the consequences of the BFSG in this presentation:
